Life can become stressful when we attempt to grow, be different, or survive the changes that life brings our way.  Even the transitions that are welcome can be stressful.  When the struggle to manage the change becomes difficult, many people face some anxiety or depression.

Counseling can provide a relief from your symptoms, a reconnection with your self and will allow for a firmer basis for moving forward in your life.

My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to provide a supportive yet challenging environment, where we can explore the issues that brought you to seek counseling and help you make meaningful and long-lasting changes.

The focus of my practice includes

  • Relationship problems (repairing and strengthening relationships, identifying and changing recurrent relational patterns that cause problems in one’s living practice)
  • Life Transitions (e.g., leaving home, separation or divorce, parenting challenges, bereavement, career change, retirement, coping with chronic illness)
  • Self-Esteem
  • Stress Management
  • “Phase of Life Issues” (helping teens and adults with friendship issues and individualization issues)
